A'0. 10238 OnDER APPROVING PAY INCREASE FOR JURY BAILIFFS
On this the 13th day of June 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the compensaticn of Gr::nd Jury
Bailiffs and Petit Jury Bailiffs in both criminal and civil cases in all of the Courts of
Kerr County be fixed hereafter at the rate of x10.00 per d~ty and it is further ordered that
vouchers sY.all be drawn or. the Jury- Fund of Kerr County to compensate all Bailiffs in the
same manner as vouchers are drawn to compensate Jurers serving in the Court in which such
Bailiffs may have served.

On this the 13th day of June 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
re:~yuest for financial assistance for the purpose of defraying incidental expenses relative
to the operatior. and maintenance of Battery B, StY: Battalion, 133rd Artillery, a Texas
National Guard Unit with head:+uarters situated in Kerr County and it appearing to the Court
'' that such assistance is urgently needed end is authorized by Art 7786, Sec. 2, Vernons
Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously a;~proved by the Court that Kerr County provide the sum
of :;20.00 per month, effective June 1, 1966 for the assistance of the aforesaid National
Guard Unit, and it is further ordered that the Clerx and the Treasurer draw vouchers ea cr.
month on the General Fund in the amount of a20.CG for this purpose.
