Barton; and it appearing that a need exists for en Aeaietant County Attorney; and it appearing that the said Robert R. Barton, County Attorney, has recommended the appointment of Joeeph F. Leonard, Jr. to the office of Aeaietant County Attorney; and it appearing that the said Joseph F. Leonard, Jr. is duly licensed and authorized to practice ae an Attorney and Counselor at Law in all the Courts of the State of Tesae; and it appearing that the County _ Attorney is authorized and empowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, to make eu ch an appointment with the consent of the Commissioners Court; THEREFORE, upon the motion of Adolph Bartel and seconded by C. ROAD 689 AT CAMP VERDE On this the 18th day of August, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter oŁ acquisition for right-of-way purposes for F. M. Road 689 at Camp Verde a certain 4 acre tract of land out oŁ Survey 101, J. E. Bettner owned by E. H. Arntfield and wife, Emogene Arntfield, which tract of land is described in Vol. 123, Page 548, Kerr County Deed Records, And 1t appearing to the Court that substantially all of the said 4 acre tract will be required by Kerr County to provide right-oŁ-way to the State oŁ Texas for the relocation of F. M. Road 689, and that the best interests of all ooncern ed would be served by the acquisi- tion by Kerr County of the entire 4 acre tract of land at this time, it ie ordered on motion by Commissioner Mo sty, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay the said E. H. Arntfield and wife, Emogene Arntfield, together with the Chas. Schreiner Bank as Lienholder the sum oŁ 45,000.00 consideration for the conveyance to Kerr County by the said E. H. and Emogene Arntfield of the aforementioned 4 acre tract, end for the further consideration that the said Chas. Schreiner Bank execute a release as to the Yendo is Lien now held and further ae cured by that certain Deed of Tru et ae is oŁ record in Vol. 88, Page 275 0Ł the Kerr County Deed oŁ Trust Records; provided, however, that title to all existing improvements on the lends coxrv ey ed shell be retained by the said E.
