On this the 12th day of September 1966, with the County Judge and County Commissioners
sitting as a Board oP Equslization, did carefully exa:uine the Tax Rolle made up from the
approved assessments by Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-CO1leotor for Kerr County,amdforthe ye
1966 and did find that all Surveys and parts of Surveys of land, and all lots end blocks
of the cities and towns of tens County and all personal property, insofar ae they were able
to ascertain have been assessed Łor taxes for the year 1966 at its true and full market
or reel value.
The 1966 tax roll ref le ets the following:

Total stste valuation -- 414,931,130.00

N0. 10301 ORDER SETTING VALUATION ON REAL 'E STATE AND IMPROVEhIENTS, LIVESTOCK, AUTOMOBILES
AND OTHER PROPERTY FOB THE YEAR 1967
On this the 12th day of September 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and setting valuat Iona
to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texa e, in taking renditions For 1967
^~ ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to the Court that the following minimum standards of
valuation should be employed to secure Pair, just and equal renditions. It is therefore
ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is herewith instructed to employ the fallowing
minimum values in taking renditione~for 1967 ad valorem taxes, it being the intent of the
Court that the following values shall be a binding minimum, but shall not be construed as
in any way constituting a maximum value, provided however, that the minimum valuations
of ra neh, grazing and cultivated lands shall be subject to ad~uatment on the basis of
market value or income. Minimum valuation herewith ORDERED are as follows, to-wit:
Cattle and horses $25.00, Goats $2.50, and Sheep $3.50
Ranch and grazing lands @- $5.50, $4.40 and $3.30, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands d $16.50 and $11.00, depending on quality
Automobiles ~ 25~ of Retail Book Values for Models 1964 and newer, including those
held by dealers;
All other property including merchandise inventories, mobile trailer homes, aircraft,
real estate not otherwise herein mentioned at not less than 25~ of actual value.
Motion made by Commissioner Mosty, seconded by Commissioner Stone and adopted by the
Court, effective this data.

On this the 12th day of September, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of compensation to be paid Rosa Lea Meek and husband, Carl D. Meek, for th
Conveyance of land required for the relocation of F. M. Road 783; and after due considera-
tion by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commis-
sioner Mosty, and unaniniou sly approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay
the said Rosa Lea Meek and Cs rl D.~Meek the sum of $280.80 as compensation for land and
damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.702 acres of land out of Survey
1862.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher on the F. M. 783 ROW Fund in the amount oŁ $280.80 payable to Roea Lea Meek, the
said voucher to he delivered on receipt of the duly executed Right-of-Way Deed.

On this the 12th day of September, 1966 came on to be considered by the Court the
matter of compensation to be offered B. D. Powell for the oonveyance of land and granting
oŁ a channel easement required for the reconet ruction of F. M. Road 783; and after due
consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by
Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to
pay the said B. D. Powell the sum of $100.00 as compensation for land and damages for h1a
conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.124 acres of land out of Survey 1862 and the granting
of one channel easement comprising 0.246 acres.
And it ie further ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the F. M. 783 ROW Fund in the amount of $100.00 payable to B. D. Powell, the said vo uche
to be delivered on receipt of his duly executed Right-of-Way Deed and Channel Easement.
