On this the 14th day of October 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Safety and
Enforcement Supply Co. in the amount of ;61204.30 for 1 Model 700 C Stephenson Speedalyzer
Radar, Ser. No. R 1371 6977, Inv. No. 9140, and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby
authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $1204.30, payable to Safety & Enforcement
Supply Co, payable out of the General Fund.

Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $5,000.00 from the General
Road and Bridge Fund to the F. M. 1340 R/W Fund.

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10334 OFFER TO J. WENDELL RASMUS APTD WIFE, VIOLET RASMUS, FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M.
ROAD 783
On this the 24th day of October, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring for the State of Texas a section of right-of-way for F. M. Road 783
across a portion of the 0.5 acre tract of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate, owned by
J. Wendell Rasmus and wife, Violet Rasmus; and it appearing to the Court that the taking of
approximately one-half of the aforesaid 0.5 acre tract will damage the remainder so as to
render its value as a homesite questionable, and that the best interest of all concerned
would be served by Kerr County acquiring title to the entire tract, and thereafter utilizing
the remainder of the tract as consideration for the acquisition of other tracts of right-of-
way;
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm,
and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County purchase in its own name the afore-
said 0.5 acre tract of land out of Survey 120, from J. Wendell Rasmus and wife, Violet
Rasmus for a consideration of $1,000.00; and
It is further ordered that the Clerk and the 't'reasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the F. ICI. 783 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $1,000.00 payable to J. Wendell Rasmus
and Violet Rasmus to be delivered upon receipt of their properly executed Warranty Deed
