M. ^ ROAD 783 On this the 24th day of October, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring for the State of Texas a section of right-of-way for F. M. Road 783 across a portion of the 0.5 acre tract of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate, owned by J. Wendell Rasmus and wife, Violet Rasmus; and it appearing to the Court that the taking of approximately one-half oŁ the aforesaid 0.5 acre tract will damage the remainder so as to render its value as a homesite questionable, and that the best interest of all concerned would be served by Kerr County acquiring title to the entire tract, and thereafter utilizing the remainder of the tract as consideration for the acquisition of other tracts of right-of- way; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County purchase in its own name the afore- said 0.5 acre tract of land out of Survey 120, from J. ROAD 783 On this the 24th day of October, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid James C. Evertson and wife, Lois Evertson, for land and damages for the conveyance of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783; and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay James C. Evertson and wife, Lois Evertson, the sum of $400.00 for their conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.570 acres of land out of Survey 120; and in addition to the foregoing cash compensation, Kerr County will construct a standard type livestock fence out of new materials along the right-of-way conveyed from the present entrance lane northward, and if required, do any work necessary on the present entrance roadway outside of the State Right-of-Way line that may be necessary to keep the new entrance way from " becoming any steeper than the existing entrance way; and It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. ROAD 783 On this the 28th day of October, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid Bernice Bumpus Stone and husband, Jimmie M. Stone, for the conveyance of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783, and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay Bernice Bumpus Stone and husband, Jimmie M. Stone, the sum of $1,000.00 for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.402 acres of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate, and in addition to the foregoing cash consideration, Kerr County will, prior to the construction of the new roadway, relocate the existing entrance gates at an acceptable location and make any necessary adjustments on the existing driveway and further, ,.- Kerr County will construct a new fence along the new right-of-way line which fence shall r ' be at least as high as the existing fence between the Stone and Hightower properties; and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F.
