On this the 30th day of December, 1966, oame on to be heard and co neidered by the
i oourt the matter of compensation to be paid Clay McBryde and wife, 3y lvie McBryde, for
land required for reaonatruction of F. M. Road 689; and after due co naideration by the
court, it is ordered on motion by Commi seioner Sahwet helm, seconded by Commissioner Mo sty,
I and unanimously approved by the court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay Clay McBryde
' and wife, Sylvia McBryde, the sum of $78.45 for land and damages for their oonveyence to
the State of Texas of 0.523 acres of land out of Survey 547;
~' And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher on the F. M. 689 No. 2 Right-oŁ-Way Fund in the amount of $78.45 payable to Cley
McBryde and Sylvia McBryde, the said voucher to be delivered upon receipt oŁ their duly

GRANT RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD 689 IN EXCHANGE FOR CONVEYANCE OF SURPLUS
RIGHT-OF-WAY
On this the 30th day of December, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the
court the proposal of J. W. Young, Jr., and wife, Louise Flask Young, to convey 1.480 acre
of land to the State oŁ Texas and to grant a channel easement comprising 0.230 scree,
which land and channel easement are required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 689, the
proposal being to make the necessary conveyances in exohange For an agreement between them
', aelvee, Kerr County and the Texas Highway Department whereby the State oŁ Texas proposes
j to convey 2.410 acres of lend out of Survey 101, J. B. Bettne r, to the said J. W. Young, J .,
and Louise Fleck Young after the reconstruction of P. M. Road 689; and it appearing to the
' Court that the said 2.410 acres of land will be surplus to the needs of both Kerr County
II and the Texas Highway Department and will no longer be required for use ae a public road
end that such land abuts the land presently owned by the said J. W. Young, Jr., and Louise
Flach Young, it ie ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, eeoonded by Commi seioner
Sohwethelm, and une nimouely approved by the court that Kerr County accept the aforesaid
proposal and that Kerr County proceed to enter into the neaesea ry three party contract to

~; of the new roadway, Kerr County will erect a standard type liveatoak fence along the line
of the two pa roele of right-of-way conveyed to the State of Texee by the said J. W. Young,
