Order No. 10,385 Order Accepting Proposal of J. W. Young, Jr. and Wife, Louise Flack Young, to Grant Right-of-Way for F. M. Road 689 in Exchange for Conveyance of Surplus Right- of-Way On this the 30th day of December, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the court the proposal of J. W. Young, Jr., and wife, Louise Flack Young, to convey 1.480 acres of land to the State of Texas and to grant a channel easement comprising 0. 230 acres, which land and channel easement are required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 689, their pro- posal being to make the necessary conveyances in exchange for an agree- went between themselves, Kerr County and the Texas Highway Department whereby the State of Texas proposes to convey 2.410 acres of land out of Survey 101, J. E. Bettner, to the said J. W. Young, Jr., and Louise Flack Young after the reconstruction of F. M. Road 689; and it appearing to the Court that the said 2.410 acres of land will be surplus to the needs of both Kerr County and the Texas Highway Department and will no longer be re- quired'for use as a public road and that such land abuts the land presently owned by the said J. W. Young, Jr. , and Louise Flack Young, it is ordered ~on motion by Commissioner Bartel seconded by Commis- sinner SChwethelm and unanimously approved by the court that ~, Kerr County accept the aforesaid proposal and that Kerr County proceed to enter into the necessary three party contract to implement the aforesaid . ~ i proposal; and it is further ordered that prior to the construction of the new roadway, Kerr County will erect a standard type livestock fence along the line of the two parcels of right-of-way conveyed to the State of Texas by the said J.
