Order No.10~386 Order Requesting the Texas Highway Department to Convey Surplus Right-of-Way of F. M. Road 689 to J. W. Young, Jr., and Wife, Louise Flack Young, Pursuant to Their Agreement to Convey New Right- of-Way and Channel Easement On this the 30th day of December, 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the court the necessity of implementing a proposed contract between the Texas Highway Department, Kerr County, and J. W. Young, Jr. , and wife, Louise Flack Young, whereby certain surplus right-of-way of Farm- to-Market Road 689 is to be conveyed by the State of Texas to J. W. Young, Jr. and wife, Louise Flack Young, in exchange for their granting aright-of- way deed to the State of Texas as to 1.480 acres of land out of~James E. Bettner, Survey 101, together with their granting an adjacent channel ease- ment comprising 0, 230 acres out of the same survey, which two tracts are more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" to said pro- posed contract, and, after due consideration by the court, it is ordered on motion b Commissioner Nosty y seconded by Commissioner Stone , and unanimously approved by the court that Kerr County enter into the proposed contract and that the same be signed by the members of the court; and it is further ordered by the court that the 2.410 acres of land out of Survey 101, J. E. Bettner, as described in Exhibit "B" to said contract will no longer be required for use as a public road following the proposed reconstrction of F. Mw Road 689; therefore, the Texas Highway Department is hereby requested to convey the following 2.410 acre tract of surplus right-of-way to J. W. Young, Jr., and wife, Louise Flack Young, pursuant to the terms of the contract entered into by the three parties con- cerned: BEGINNING at a point located in the west line of existing F, M. Highway 689. Said point being located 90 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 588f98 on the pr oposed centerline of F'. M. Highway 689 for reloca- tion and widening, same point being South 19019' East 166. 58 feet from the northeast corner of the J. W. Young, Jr. , et ux, property; THENCE SOUTH 0°38' West, a distance of 524. 18 feet to a point, said point being 90 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 594F08. 27 on the proposed centerline of F. M. Highway 689; TIIENCE SOUTH 10°35' East, a distance of 181. 10 feet to a point, said point being 60 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 59600 on the proposed centerline of said Highway; THENCE SOUTH 0°12' West, a distance of 1061.0 feet to a point, said point being 60 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 606E61 on the proposed centerline of said highway; THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along the existing right- of-way line of F, M.
