On this the 9th day of January 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of fixing the compensation oP Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and ape clal Veni remen
1n the District Court of Kerr County and of Juro ra in the County Court of Berr County as ie
required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure and Article 35.24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after
due consideration, it is ordered an motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Burney, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation to be paid during the
year 1967 and until further orders of the court to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and
Special Veniremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day, including those summoned but excused, ~~~
provided however, that those County and District Court Petit Jurors and Grand Jurors
actually paneled and sworn, shall be paid $7.50 per day, with au ch compensation to be paid
out of the Jury Fund of Kerr County.
