Pearson and wife, Florins Pearson, for those damages accruing as a result of their granting
the required right-of-way, a total oŁ $6,250.00 should be offered ae compensation for land
and damages, it ie ordered on motion by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
and unanimously approved by the ccu rt that the said Order No. 10,420 be amended so ae to
increase the amount oŁ cash compensation offered the said Calvin Pearson and wife, Florine
Pearson, to $6,250.00, with the Clerk and the Treasurer being authorized to draw a voucher
on the F. M. 689 No. 2 Right-of-Way Fund in this amount and as set forth in the said
original order; and,
Zt is further ordered that Kerr County will request the Texas Highway Department to
reconv ey to the said Calvin Pearson and wife, Florine Pearson, such surplus right-oŁ-way
as may be found to exist from the proximity of Pase Creek northward and abutting the present
Pearson property, and upon the reconveyance of any surplus right-oŁ-way, Kerr County will
furnish the necessary fencing materials to fence the reconveyed right-of-way to the same

On this the 27th day oŁ January, 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the court
the necessity oŁ implementing a proposed contract between the Texas Highway Department,
Kerr County, and Mrs. Bennett (Frances) Heap and George Alfred Heap, whereby certain surplus
right-of-way oŁ Farm-to-Market Road 689 is to be conveyed by the State of Texas to Mrs.
Bennett (Frances) Heap and George Alfred Heap in exchange for their granting a right-oŁ-way
deed to the State of Texse sa to 3.415 acres of land out of W. T. Crook Survey No. 61 and
W. T. Crook Survey No. tit, which tra of of land ie particularly described by metes and bounds
in Exhibit "A" to said proposed contract; and, after due consideration by the court, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimous
ly approved by the Court that Kerr County enter into the proposed oontract and that the creme
be signed by the members oŁ the court; and it is further ordered by the oourt that the 6.409
acres of land out of Surveys 61, W. T. Crook, and 62, W. T. Crook, as described in Exhibit
"B" to said contract will no longer be required for use as a public road following the pro-
posed recon et ruction oŁ F. M. Rosd 689; therefore, the Texse Highway Department ie hereby
