Staudt as Deputy Sheriff, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize A. E. No appearance of the public for or against the proposal of the salary increase, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved the proposed salary increase of the County Attorney at 57200.C0 per annum, effective Piay 1, 1967. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NU. 10498 ORDER RENEWING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CI'T'Y OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS ..~ On this the 8th day of May 1y67 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas will expire on May 31, 1967; and i.t further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and th.e working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and thet it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew such contract for a one-year period; It is therefore Ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year commencing on June 1, 1967 and ending on Play 31, 1968 as provided for in Part C of the existing contract, said renewal to become effective upon the joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter acceptance as provided for by the terms of said Part C, and it is further Urdered that the Clerk of '-' this Court forward a certi.f:ied copy of this Order to the City of Kerrville, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
