No appearance of the public for or against the proposal of the salary increase, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved the proposed salary increase of the County Attorney at $7200.00 per annum, effective Iwiay 1, 1967. o-o-o-v-o-o-o-o-o-o I~?O. 1O4g8 ORDER REDIEWING FIRE FIGHTZNG CONTRACT WSTH THE CI`1'Y OF KERRVILhE, TEXAS ^ On this the 8th day of May 1867 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas will expire on May 31, 1967; and it further a:.%pearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew such contract for a one-year period; It is therefore Urdered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year commencing on June 1, 1967 and ending on May 31, 1968 as provided for in Part C of the existing contract, said renewal to become e-'fective upon she joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter acceptance as provided for by the terms of said Part C, and it is further Urdered that the Clerk of ''^ this Court forward a certified copy of this Order to the City of Kerrville, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
