TAKE NOTICE that an election will. be held on the 27th day of May, 1967, in the KERR
COU"Pl'Y COTPIOIv' SCHOOL DISTRICT N0. 2 (I?dGRAM) of Tien County, Texas, to determine whether
said Common School District shall be incorporated as an independent school district and
for the election of seven (7) trustees, in obedience to an election order made and entered
by the County Judge of Kerr County upon the Minutes of the Commissioner's Court granting
the petition for said election, which said order is dated the 9t r. day of May, 1967, and
such order reads and provides as follows:

!a`HEREAS, on the 2nd day of i4ay, 1967, a petition was presented to me by Harvey D.
Goff and 38 other persons of Kerr County Common School District No. 2 (Ingram) of Rerr
County, Texas, praying that an election be ordered to be held in said District for the
purpose of determining whether or not the said District shall be incorporated for free
school purposes only, and to be known as "INGRAM INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT" of Kerr

County, Texas; and also that an election be ordered to be held at the same time designated
for holding tTte election above !rlentioned and petitioned for, for the purpose of electing '"
3 Board of Trustees of said District, to consist of seven (7) members, as provided by
statute, who shall hold office until the next regular trustee election to be held on the
first Saturday in April, next succeeding, and until their respective successors have been
duly elected and qualified; and
IT APPEARING that said petitior. is signed by more than twenty l20) resident qualified
voters of the said Kerr County Common School District No. 2 (Ingram) of Kerr County,
Texas, and is in every respect in conformity with law; and
IT FURTHER APPEARLNG that the said Kerr County Common School District No. 2 (Ingram)
of Kerr County, Texas, has been heretofore duly established in its preser_t form and
boundaries defined by order of the County Board of School 't'rustees of Kerr County, adopted
on the 21st day of August, 1952, which said order appears of record in Book 1, page 280
et seq., of the Minutes of said Board; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING that the said District, as so established contains more than ,--`
seven hundred (700) inhabitants, to-wit: about 2100 inhabitants who are actual residents
therein; and
I'i FURTAF.R APPEARING that the said District, as so established, does not include
within i.ts bounds any town or village which has assumed control of the public free schools
within its limits; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING that said incorporation shall be .Laid out in a square as near
as may be practicable with reference to the location of a school building;
THEREFORE, I, J. R. NEUNHOFFER, in my official capacity as County Judge of Kerr
County, Texas, DO HEREBY FIND A:7D DE'Pr'RMINE the sufficiency of such petition and that the
facts presented to me in support of such petition are true and substantially conclusive;
and in consequence thereof I DO HEREBY GRANT such petition and DO HEREBY ORDER that an
election be held on the 27th day of May, 1907, which is within twenty (20) days from the
date of this order, at the INGRAM SCHOOL and 9.n the said Kerr County Common School District
No. 2 (Ingram) of Kerr County, Texas, for the purpose of determining whether or not the
said Common School District shall be incorporated for free school purposes only, and to
be known as "IN GRAM INDEP~'NDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT" of Kerr County, Texas, under authority
conferred by Article 2777, V.A.T.C.S.
IT IS HEREBY FURTT'.hR ORDERED that the following named persons are hereby appointed
officers of said election:

ABSENTEE VOTING shall be conducted at the County Clerk's Office in the Courthouse,
in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 424, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular
Session, 1963.
IT 1S FURTI~R ORDERED that the ballots for said election shall be prepared in
sufficient number and in conformity with Chapter 6, V.A.T.C.S., Election Code, and that
printed on such ballots shall appear the following proposition:

"AGAINST THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT"

EACH VOTER shall mark out with pen or pencil one of the above expressions, thus leaving
the other as indicating his or her vote on the proposition.
'T'HE SAID BALLG'PS shall also have seven (7) blank spaces thereon, and each voter shall
write thereon the names of those for whom such voter desires to vote as the trustees for
the said Independent School District, if it be so incorporated.
ODTLY aUALIFIED VOTERS who are residents of Kerr County Common School District No. 2
(Ingram) of Kerr County, Texas, sY:all be entitled to vote at said election.
SAID ELF.CTlODT shall be held under the provisions of the laws of this State regulating
general elections, except as otherwise provided by the statute hereinabove referred to.
THE BOUNDARIES of the said Kerr County Common School District No. 2 (Ingram) of Kerr
County, Texas, as defined in the aforesaid order of the County Board of School Trustees of
Kerr County, are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
AATD I DO FURTHER HEREBY ORDER that the same time and place designated for holding the
above election in the same form and manner and by the same election officers, an election
shall also be held for the purpose of electing a Board of Trustees for said District to
consist of seven (7) members, as provided by statute, who shall hold office until the next
regular Trustee election to be held on the first Saturday in Auril, next succeeding, and
until their respective successors have been duly elected and qualified.
NOTICE OF ';AID ELECTION shall be given by posting a copy of this order, at the top of
