Muenker, County Clerk, covering the indebtedness, expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the quarter beginning May 1, 1967 and ending July 31, 1967, and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and found correct. Upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved said report and ordered said report to be filed for future reference and subject to audit. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10547 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY TREASURER On this the 15th day of August 1967, in Regular Monthly Session of Commissioners' Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasurer of said County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of May 1967 and ending on the 31st day of July 1967, and the same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct. And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as therein shown. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED by the Court that the said detailed report be, and the same is hereby approved, and the Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record binder provided for the Minutes of County Finances, and that proper credits be made in the accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with this order. AS ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY `P HE STATE OF TEXAS ~ COUNTY OF KERR ~ ON THIS, the 22nd day of August, A.D. 1967, came on for consideration by the Commis- sinners Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of consenting to the appointment of an Assistant County Attorney to serve without expense to the County, at the special instance and request of and for a period of time to be determined by County Attorney, Robert R. Barton; and it appearing that a need exists for an Assistant County Attorney; and it appearing that the said Robert R. Barton, County Attorney, has recommended the appointment ~.~~) of Joseph F. Leonard, Jr. to the office of Assistant County Attorney; and it appearing ,--- that the said Joseph F. Leonard, Jr. is duly licensed and authorized to practice as an Attor- ney and Counselor at Law in all the Courts of the State of Texas; and it appearing that the County Attorney is authorized and empowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, to make such an appointment with the consent of the Commis- sioners Court; THEREFORE, upon the motion of Clinton D. Burney and second by Roger E. Stone and unani- mously approved by the court it is hereby ordered that the Commissioners Court of Kerr County grant its consent to the appointment of Joseph F. Leonard, Jr. to the office of Assistant County Attorney; the said Joseph F. Leonard, Jr. to have the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and to serve at the expense and will of the said County Attorney. This consent is subject, however, to the said Joseph F.
