MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for August, 1967 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 10554 APPORTIONMENT OF LATERAL ROAD MONEY On this the 11th day of September 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, it was unanimously approved by the Court that upon receipt of $20,864.12 into the Kerr County Lateral Road Fund, the County Clerk and County Treasurer 53~ are hereby directed to make the following transfers: Lateral Road Precinct #1 $7093.80 Lateral Road Precinct #2 $3546.90 Lateral Road Precinct #3 $3546.90 Lateral Road Precinct #4 $6676.52 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10555 ORDER SETTING VALUATION ON REAL ESTATE AND IMPROVEMENTS, LIVESTOCK, AUTOMOBILES AND OTHER PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1968 On this the 11th day of September 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and setting valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 1968 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to the Court that the following minimum standards of valuation should be employed to secure fair, just and equal renditions. It is therefore ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is herewith instructed to employ the following minimum values in taking renditions for 1968 ad valorem taxes; it being the intent of the Court that the following values shall be a binding minimum, but shall not be construed as in any way constituting a maximum value, provided however, that the minimum valuations --. of ranch, grazing and cultivated lands shall be subject to adjustment on the basis of market value or income. Minimum valuations herewith ORDERED are as follows, to-wit: Cattle and horses $25.00, Goats 52.50, and Sheep $3.50 Ranch and grazing lands @ $5.50, 54.40 and $3.30, depending on quality; Cultivated lands @ $16.50 and $11.00, depending on quality; Automobiles @ 25~ of Retail Book Values for Models 1965 and newer, including those held by dealers; All other property including merchandise inventories, mobile trailer homes, aircraft, real estate not otherwise herein mentioned at not less than 25~ of actual values. Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney and adopted by the Court, effective this date. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10556 TERMINATION OF COUNTY ATTORNEY'S SECRETARY ALLOWANCE On this the 11th day of September 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, ^-. seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County Attorney's Secretary allowance be terminated and that the office rent increase to $100.00 a month to be paid directly to Adele Johnson, effective September 1, 1967. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10557 READING AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES On this the 11th day of September 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved the rTinutes of Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, from pages 521 thru 534, Volume M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10558 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF KERRVILLE SOUTH RANCHES N0. ONE On this the 11th day of September 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, with Commissioners Schwethelm and Burney voting "AYE" and Commissioner Stone voting "NO", said motion carrying by a majority vote, that the Plat of Kerrville South Ranches No. One be accepted, provided in so doing Kerr County does not accept as county roadways the road easements depicted for public use and further that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repairs, maintenance, construction or reconstruc- tion of roadways so depicted. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
