Schwethelm Roger Stone County Judge Commissioner Precinct 1 Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0. 10584 ORDER CLOSING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF THE NORTH FORK COUNTY ROAD, ALSO KNOhTI AS OLD KERRVILLE-ROC KSPRINGS ROAD, AS A PUBLIC ROADWAY On this the 20th day of October, 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the Court -14- the fact that certain portions of the North Fork County Road, also known as the old Kerrville- ~~~ Rocksprings Road, are no longer required for use by the public as a public roadway due to the ~-- construction by the State of Texas of Farm-to-Market Road 134G from Mo-Ranch westward to a point west of the Boneyard Water Hole on the North Fork of the Guadalupe River; and It further appearing to the Court that as a portion of the consideration for the granting of various parcels of right-of-way for F. M. Road 1340, Kerr County did agree to close and abandon certain portions of said roadway as is evidenced by the minutes of the Court, It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seccnded by Commissioner Sctiwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that the following portions of the said North Fork County Road are hereby ordered closed and abandoned as a public roadway for all purposes and that the lawful owners of the lands underlying said abandoned roadway are hereby authorized to fence and enclose the lands occupied by said abandoned roadway as follows: Part I. BEGINNING at a point in Willie Joy Survey No, 703 on the south side of the river and situated within the 92 acre Lee Wallace Estate property at a point immediately to the north of the existing entrance gate to the enclosed portions of said 92 acre tract; THENCE, running northerly and westerly across portions of Survey 703, Willie Joy, 1$74, W, H. Wilhite and 1031, G.W.T. & P.R.R. Co., to a point on the north bank of the Guadalupe River in the Texas Parks and W'il.dlife Department property and on the south side of F, M. Road 1340 in the proximity of Station 120 of the centerline of said roadway. Part II BEGINNING at a point in F, M, Smith Survey 1475 just north of the intersection of the Stowers Ranch Road with the North Fork County Road at a cattle guard set in the south line of the Dr. Eugene T. Standley property andzunning norhtwesterly through a portion of said Standley property to a point on the north side of the Guadalupe River and in the south line of F, M, Road 1340 in S, H. Larrimore Survey 1355 and in the proximity of Station 171 of the centerline of said roadway. Part III. Those portions of the North Fork County Road, also known as the old Kerrville- Rocksprings Road, lying outside of the right-of-way of F. M. Road 134C as now fenced and lying on either side of the fenced right-of-way beginning - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - at Station 171 of the centerline of said roadway and running west beyond the Boneyard Vu'ater -- Hole, where said Farm-to-i'~~arket Road 1340 presently ends at Station 2$3 of the centerline of said roadway, the sections of county roadway so abandoned constituting portions of the follow- ing surveys: S, H. Larrimore Survey 1355, G, C, & S. F. Survey 1549, L. W, Howell Survey 1442, Mary J, Anderson Survey 1439 and A, 0, Spencer Survey 716 and being variously enclosed in part by Dr. Eugene T. Standley, Texas Park and Wildlife Department, The Stcwers Ranch (National Bank of Commerce, Trustee), and Felix F.
