COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION October 30, 1967 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., with the
following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10585 ORDER ACCEPTING PUBLIC ROAD EASEMENT FOR VARIOUS ROADWAYS CONSTITUTING 27.39
ACRES UUT OF SURVEYS 145, THOS. L. WADDELL and 146, WM. C. FRANCIS AND DECLAR-
ING SAID ROADWAYS TO BE PUBLIC ROADS
On this the 30th day of October, 1967 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
an easement describing certain proposed public roadways as are more particularly described
therein and which proposed public roadways comprise 27.39 acres of land being 18.56 acres
out of Survey No. 145 Thos. L. Waddell and 8.83 acres out of Survey No. 146 Wm. C. Francis;
the said easement having been tendered Kerr County by G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe,
owners of the lands therein described and it appearing to the Court that the roadways
described in said easement have been heretofore constructed by the named grantors at no
cost to Kerr County and have been heretofore paved by the named grantors and that such
roadways are required for use by the public for ingress and egress to various properties
abuting said roadways, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm seconded by
Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County accept the
aforesaid easement as tendered by G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe and that the roadways
described therein be accepted as public roadways and be so declared and it is further
ordered that the said easement be recorded in the Kerr County l;asement Records.

N0. 10586 APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF W. T. THURMAN
On this the 30th day of October 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved the claim of W. T. Thurman
in the amount of $394.02 for 1791 ft. of fencing ~% .22 per ft. and the Clerk and Treasurer
are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $394.02, payable to W. T. Thurman
out of the F. M. 783 R/W Fund.

N0. 10587 OFFER TO W. E. ROBISON AND WIFE, GRACE ROBISON FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD

On this the 30th day of October, 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of compensation to be paid W. E. Robison and wife, Grace Robison, for
the conveyance of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783; and after due
consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Kerr County hereby
offers to pay W. E. Robison and wife, Grace Robison, the sum of $100.00 for land and
damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.070 acres of land out of Survey
120, Walter Fosgate; and in addition to the foregoing consideration, Kerr County will
relocate the existing chain link fence on the new right-of-way line, and in so doing,
will make any requested adjustments in the width of the existing entrance; provided,
however, that Kerr County shall not be obligated to furnish any new entrance gates if said
entranceway is widened; and in addition Kerr County will assume the cost of such concrete
curbing as the Texas Highway Department shall elect to construct along the edge of the
new roadway.

And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
"^ voucher on the F. M. 783 ROW Fund in the amount of $100.00 payable to W. E. Robison and
Grace Robison, the said voucher to be delivered on receipt of their duly executed Right-
of-Way Deed.

N0. 10588 ORDER ACCEP`T'ING GRANT AGREEMENT OF TEXAS AERONAUTICS COMPASSION FOR FUNDS FOR
IMPROVEMENTS AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD AND AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO EXECUTE
SAME ON BEHALF OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 30th day of October, 1967, came on to be considered by the Court the
Grant Agreement dated October 23, 1967, as submitted by the Texas Aeronautics Commission
to Kerr County and the City of Kerrville; and it appearing to the Court that it would be
in the best interests of Kerr County to accept the said Grant Agreement, it is ordered
on motion by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved
by the Court that Kerr County accept the said Grant Agreement as is set forth in Appendix
"A" to this order and that the County Judge be authorized to execute the same on behalf
of Kerr County.

FROM: The State of Texas, acting through the Texas Aeronautics Commission (Herein referred
to as the "Commission")
WHEREAS, the Sponsor has submitted to the Commission a request for State Aid, dated
October 29, 1965, for a grant of State funds for a project for development of the Louis
,--. Schreiner Field Airport, and has expressed a willingness at this time to match those funds
in conformity with the laws of this State and with the rules and regulations of the Commis-
sion; and
WHEREAS, the Sponsor certifies that it has available in cash and in other acceptable form
the resources for the undertaking and successful completion of this project; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has approved a project for development of the Airport (herein
called the " Project") consisting of the following described airport development;
Land acquisition and clear zones.
Construct and pave taxiways parallel
to N/S and E/W runways. Painting

pursuant to and for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the
age 1 of 4
Texas Aeronautics Commission Act as amended, and in consideration of (a) the Sponsor's
adoption and ratification of the conditions comprising this Offer as hereinafter provided,
and (b) the benefits to accrue to the State of Texas and the public from the accomplish-
went of the Project and the operation and maintenance of the Airport as herein provided,
THE TEXAS AERONAUTICS COMMISSION, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, HEREBY OFFERS
AND AGREES to pay, as the State of Texas' share of the allowable costs incurred in
accomplishing the Project, 25 per centum of all allowable costs, or the maximum obligation
