~~ ~_~_ COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION November 3, 1967 at 10:45 o'clock A.M., with the following officers present; Julius R. Neunhoffer County Judge W. C. Schwethelm Commissioner Precinct 1 Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0. 10589 OFFER TO B. C. HOBSOPd AND WIFE, MAMIE HUBSON, FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD 783 On this the 3rd day of November, 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid B. C. Hobson and wife, Mamie Hobson, for the convey- ance of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783; and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Kerr County hereby offers to pay B. C. Hobson and wife, Mamie Hobson, the sum of X250.00 for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texzs of 0.018 acres of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate; the foregoing consideration being intended to include compensation for the estimated costs of relocation of the existing concrete retaining wall and shrubbery located on the land "~ conveyed; and in addition Kerr County will assume the cost of such concrete curbing as the Texas Highway Department shall elect to construct along the edge of the new roadway. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. M. 783 ROW Fund in the amount of $250.00 payable to B. C. Hobson and Mamie Hobson, the said voucher to be delivered on receipt of their duly executed Right-of- Way Deed. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10590 ORDF,R ACCEPTING OFFER OF J. E. CHILES, JR., AND WIFE, NOVA LUCILLE CHILES, TO DONATE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD 783 On this the 3rd day of November, 1967, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the offer of J. E. Chiles, Jr., and wife, Nova Lucille Cy~iles, to donate land requir- ed by the State of Texas for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783; and it appearing to the Court that the offer to donate said land in consideration of Kerr County's replacement of the existing fence with a chain link fence should be accepted; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the offer of J. E. Chiles, Jr., and wife, Nova Lucille Chiles, to donate 0.201 acres of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate, to the State of Texas for right-of-way purposes; and in return for such donation, Kerr County will construct a new 5 foot chain link fence along the new right- of-way line together with such appropriate replacements for existing entrance gates as might be requested, and said new fence shall be winged so as to properly connect with the existing cattle guard posts. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED November 3, 1967 at 11:00 o'clock A.M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o The foregoing minutes from page 549 thru 564 were read in open Court and found correct and are hereby approved this the 13th day of November 1967.
