N0. 10594 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS OF OFFICERS HOLDING i'ROPOSED AMENDMENT'S ^10 THE CONSTITUTION
OF TEXAS ELECTION
On this the 13th day of November 1967, came on to be examined by the Court the claims
and accounts filed by each election official, indicating the number of hours each had
rendered in the performance of his duties in regard to the Proposed Amendments to the
Constitution of Texas Election held on November 11, 1967.
It appearing to the Court that said Election Judges be paid, as per claim on file, at
$1.25 per hour and $5.00 additional for the Presiding Judges for bringing in the returns,
including the Absentee Box.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously
approved by the Court.

MENT, ONE iW0 TON TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS FOR COl.P4ISSI0Nr:R OF PRECINCT N0. 2 AND
ONE TWO TON TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS FOR COMMISSIONER OF PRECINCT N0. 1
On this the 13th day of November 1967, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County
Judge be authorized to advertise for bids for one 1968 four door sedan for the Kerr County
Sheriff's Department, one two ton truck cab and chassis for the Commissioner of Precinct
No. 2 and one two ton truck cab and chassis for the Commissioner of Precinct No. 1.
Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A.M. December 29, 1967, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published November 15 and November 22, 1967, in the official newspaper
of Kerr County, Texas.

N0. 10596 ORDER ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF MARIE HURT, DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK
On this the 13th day of November 196"~, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, second-
ed by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Marie ^
Hourt as Deputy County Clerk be accepted, effective as of October 15, 1967.

N0. 10597 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPOINTT~;NT OF TOMI~IIE JEAN COWDEN AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK
On this the 13th day of November 1967, came on to be conoidered by the Court the
application of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Tommie
Jean Cowden as Deputy County Clerk, and it appearing tc the Court that said officer is
entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore on motion
made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously
approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Tommie Jean Cowden as Deputy County
Clerk and that her salary be set at $225.00 per month, effective the date of qualification,
the same being the 14th day of November 1967.
