by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Attorney,
Robert R. Barton, be authorized and directed to proceed to file an intervention in the

bids for one tractor and loader for Precinct No. 3, as per specifications on file in the
County Clerk's Office.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is
found that the bid of Edens Implement Company in the amount of $5,465.72 be accepted as
the lowest and best bid.
Motion made by Comrissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court.

SEDAN FOR SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 29th day of December 1y67, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for one 1968 Model 4 Door Sedan for the Sheriff's Department, as per specifications
on file in the County Clerk's Office.
Upon opening and reading t_ie bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is
found that the bid of Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., in the amount of $1795.70, which is the total
difference to be paid by the Sheriff's Department, between the new unit and the 1965 Ford
Custom 4-Door Sedan, be accepted as the lowest and best bid.
Plot ion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, with Commis-
sinners Schwethelm and Bartel voting "AYE" and Commissioner Stone abstaining from voting,
said motion carrying by a majority vote.

On this the 29th day of December 1967, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for two 1968 two ton trucks cab and chassis for Precinct No. 1 and Precinct No. 2, as
per specifications on file in the County Clerk's Office.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is
found that the bids of Peterson Auto Company, be accepted as the lowest and best bids, as
follows:
1-1968 Chevrolet 2 toxi truck for Precinct No. 1 in the amount of $3,549.00, which
is the total difference to be paid between the new unit and the 1955 Chev. truck.
1-1968 Chevrolet 2 ton truck for Precince No. 2 in the amount of $3,874.00.
