Order No. ~~i. 4~~~ Order Requesting the Texas Highway Department to Convey Surplus Right-of-Way of F, M. Road 689 to Donald S. Jenkins and Wife, Elizabeth R, Jenkins, Pursuant to Their Agreement to Convey New Right- of-Way. On this the 27th day of January, 1967, came on to be heard and con- sidered by the court the necessity of implementing a proposed contract be- tween the Texas Highway Department, Kerr County, and Donald S. Jenkins and wife, Elizabeth R. Jenkins, whereby certain surplus right-of-way of Farm-to-Market Road 689 is to be conveyed by the State of Texas to Donald and wife, Elizabeth R. Jenkins, S« Jenkins/as a portion of the consideration for their granting aright-of-way deed to the State of Texas as to 1.563 acres of land out of W. T. Crook Sur- vey No« 61, which tract of land is particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" to said proposed contract; and, after due consideration by the court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner ~~ , . seconded by Commissioner ~~tyw4_~ and unanimously approved by the court that Kerr County enter into the proposed contract and that the same be signed by the members of the court; and it is further ordered by the court that the 0.635 acres of land out of Survey 61, W. T. Crook, as described in Exhibit "B" to said contract will no longer be required for use as a public road following the proposed reconstruction of F. M. Road 689; therefore, the Texas Highway Department is hereby requested to convey the following 0. 635 acre tract of surplus right-of-way to Donald S. Jenkins and Elizabeth R: Jenkins pursuant to the terms of the contract entered into by the three parties concerned: Being 0, 635 acres of Land, more or less, out of the William T. Crook Sur- vey No. 61, Abstract No, 111, Kerr County, Texas, said 0.635 acre tract being comprised of the same land described in a deed from Bruno R. Schultze to the State of Texas, dated October 13, 1947, recorded in Volume 84, Page 56, Deed Records of Kerr County, Texas, and of the old existing Kerrville- Bandera Road; said 0, 635 acre parcel of land being more particularly de- scribed by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the east right-of-way of existing F. M. Highway 689 with the east right-of-way of F, M, Highway 689 to be abandoned, said point being in a northeasterly direction 1267, 0 feet from an existing southwest corner of the Donald S. Jenkins property, and being further described as being 130, 0 feet at right angles from Engineer's P. C, Station 358f68,70 on the centerline of said existing F. M. Highway 689; THENCE NORTH 34°48' East, 469.1 feet to a point, said point being 110. 0 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 35400.0 on the centerline of existing F. M. Highway 689; THENCE NORTH 37°29' East, 238.0 feet to a point, said point being 110. 0 feet at right angles from Engineer's Station 35162 on the centerline of exist- ing F. M. Highway 689; THENCE along the arc of a circular curve to the right, having a radius of 159. 2 feet, a distance of 81.3 feet to a point, said arc having a central angle of 23° 24' and a chord of 80.8 feet bearing South 2°08' West; THENCE with east right-of-way line of abandoned F. M. Highway 689, same being an existing west line of the Donald S. Jenkins property as follows: SOUTH 34° 48' West, 264.0 feet; SOUTH 48° 05' West, 383.1 feet to the place of beginning and contain- ing 0,635 acres of land, more or less. F: ..
