~RD Ek, NO . a (i , 8 2 7 Order Redefining the Boundaries of the County Com- missioners Precincts of Kerr County, Effective Jan- uary 1, 1969 On this the 9th day of December, 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of redefining the boundaries of the four County Commissioners Precincts of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that pursuant to Article 5, Section 18, of the Constitution of the State of Texas, the Commissioners Court shall, from time to time, for the con- venience of the people, divide Kerr County into four Commissioners Pre- cincts, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Jt:U71e , seconded by Commissioner Burre and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County shall be, as of the effective date of this order, divided into four Commissioners Precincts as hereinafter de- scribed by metes and bounds, and that, pursuant to the authority contained in Article 2351 1/2, Vernon's Annotates': Texas Civil Statutes, the provi- sions of this order shall become effective on Jaizuary 1, 199, and be in effect thereafter until altered by proper and lawful order or statute, The boundaries of the four Commissioners Precincts of Kerr County are hereby defined effective January 1, 1969, by metes and bounds as follows: COMMISSIONERS PRECINCT NO. 1 BEGINNING at the point where the east right-of-way line of State Highway 16 intersects the common boundary line of Kerr and Gillespie Counties; THENCE southwesterly with the east right-of-way line of State Highway 16 to the point of its intersection with the south right-of-way line of Interstate High- way 10 as platted by the Texas Highway Department; THENCE in a westerly direction with the south right-of-way line of said Interstate 10 to the ,point of its intersection with the centerline of Town Creek; THENCE down the :centerline of Town Creek to the point of its intersection with the west line of a section of the old Town Creek Road situated on the south bank of Town Creek in Survey 120, W.
