On this the 14th day of October 1968, came on to be considered by the Court the
' application of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and
deputize Valorie Carpenter as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the
Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be
approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Burney, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Valorie ~~'~
Carpenter as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and that her salary be set at X280.00 per ~'
month, effective the date of her qualification, the same being the 14th day of October 1968.

2372c of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, the application oŁ Carl T. Bledsoe Ranch
by C. V. Storms, Foreman, for terracing of his land 4jz miles southwest oŁ Center Point
in Yre cinet No. 2, was approved by the Court and contract entered into by and between the
Commissioner of precinct No. 2 and the aforementioned party. ~,

On this the 14th day of October 1968, came on to be examined by the Court Certificates
of Cancellation, Cert iŁicates Nos. 20383 and 20384, presented to the Court by Juanita
Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector oŁ Rerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the
reasons set out in said Certificates for the cancellation oŁ taxes are good and sufficient„~
it is therefore ordered by the Court that the said certificates be granted and signed by
the County Budge.
