~. application of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and ~~,
deputize Valorie Carpenter as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the
Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be ~'~,
approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Burney, the Court unanimously approved that said oĢĢicer be authorized to deputize Valorie I'
Carpenter as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and that her salary be set at $280.00 per ~.
month, effective the date oĢ her qualification, the same being the 14th day of October 1968.

in Precinct No. 2, was approved by the Court and contract entered into by and between the
Commi ssloner of Precinct No. 2 and the aforementioned party.

of Cancellation, Certificates Nos. 20383 and 20384, presented to the Court by Juanita
Reevea, Tax Assessor-Collector of Eerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the
reasons set out in said Certificates for the cancellation of taxes are good and sufficient ,~~~.
it is therefore ordered by the Court that the said certificates be granted and signed by
the County Judge.
