~, On this the 23rd day of December, 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the
~'~ COUrt the matter oŁ investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr Coun
Flood Control Maintenance Fund; and
'~' It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury
~~~ Bills would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas.
~ Schreiner Bank, the official depository oŁ Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S.
~~Treasury Bills of the longest available term and with a maturity value oŁ $13,000.00 for

jiKerr County and to hold the same in safekeeping; and

f~~ It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to drew a voucher
1i,on the Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the necesaa ry amount to purchase the Treasury Bill
!~'as aforesaid, doing so wrien advised by the Chas. Schreiner Bank as to the actual purchase
',prdce, and making the said voucher payable as directed by the said bank; and

I'' It is further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to sign any necessary
~I~pu rchase orders or other instruments on behalf oŁ Kerr County.

4N0. 10838 ORDER INCREASING PAYMENTS TO DISTRICT CLERK FOR CARE OF COUNTY LAW LIBRARY
On this the 30th day of December 1968 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
'the matter of increasing payments to the District Clerk Łor the care and custody of the
!'County Law Library and it appearing to the Court that such increase would be justified due
~~, to the increase in size oŁ the said County Law Library since the year 1959 when the Diatri c'
'I Clerk assumed the responsibility Łor the care of the said Law Library, it is ordered on
emotion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved
by the Court that the payments to the District Clerk for the care of the County Law Library
~I be increased to the sum of $40.00 per month, effective January 1, 1969 and that the Clerk
