NC. 10836 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OU'T OF KERR COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
MAINTENANCE FUND ZN U. S. TREASURY BILLS
', On this the 23rd day of December, 1y68, came on to be heard and considered by the
.,Court the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr Cou
Flood Control Maintenance Fund; and
It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury
Bills would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, the official depository oŁ Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S.
i~Trea scary Bills of the longest available term and with a maturity value of $13,000.00 for
:Kerr County and to hold the same in safekeeping; and
It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw s voucher
!on the Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bill:

gas aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas. Schreiner Bank as to the actual purchase
,.,.price, and making the said voucher payable as directed by the said bank; and
'~~ It is Further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to sign any necessary
pu rchese orders or other instruments on behalf of Kerr County.

NO. 10838 ORDER INCREASING PAYMENTS TO DISTRICT CLERK FOR CARE OF COUNTY LAW LIBRARY
On this the 30th day of December 1968 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
'the matter of increasing payments to the District Clerk for the care and custody of the
County Law Library and it appearing to the Court that such increase would be justified due
~~, to the increase in size of the said County Law Library since the year 1959 when the Dist ri:
',i Clerk assumed the responsibility for the care of the said Law Library, it is ordered on
;, motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved
