On this the Stn day of January 1968, came on to be examined by the Court the quarterly
Report of all monies and fees collected by Emmie M. T~Iuenker, County Clerk, belonging to
officers, witnesses and other persons, remaining in her hands uncalled for by the parties
entitled thereto, for the period ending the 31st day of December 1967 and held on deposit
in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $2206.35.
Also t~uarterly Report of Fines Imposed, Jury and Library Fees, Judgments received and
collected in the County Court by the Clerk of said Court, in the amount of $2167.00
It appearing to the Court that said reports are in due form and should be approved;
therefore, on motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court
unanimously approved said reports as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk.

N0. 10632 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S SEMI-ANPTUAL REPORT OPT TRUST FUND AND FINES
On this the 8th day of January 1968, came on to be examined by the Court the semi-
annual report of all receipts and disbursements of the County Clerk Trust k'und in the
Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by
her in her official capacity, to officers and persons entitled thereto, and amounts remain-
ing in her hands for the period from June 30, 1967, leaving a balance of $2206.35 on
deposit in said Trust Fund, for the period ending December 31, 1967.
It appearing to the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved;
therefore, on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court
unanimously approved said report as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk.

N0. 10633 ORDER SETTING COUNTY OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On tYiis the 8th day of January 1968, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of
various County Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1968, as provided for in
Article 3912e, Section 2, R.C.S, of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County
has a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census,
and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials of Kerr
County are paid on a salary basis for the year 1968.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and un-
animously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials of Kerr County be
paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1968. It is further ordered by the
Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to

N0. 10634 ORDER SE`1'TING PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON A SALARY BASIS
On this the 8th day of January 1968, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation for
the Precinct Officials of the various precincts of Kerr County Łor the year 1968 as pro-
vided for in Article 3912e, Section 6, R.C.S. of Texas. It appearing to the Court that
the interests of the County would be best served if the Precinct Officials of Kerr County
are paid on a salary basis for the year 1968;
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and un-
animously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a
salary basis for the year 1968, as provided by law. It is further ordered that the Clerk
of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the State Comptroller
of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.

by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and Treasurer
be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security Fund
from their respective funds:

On this the 8th day of January 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Ccurt
... the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen
in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County as is
required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure and Article 35.24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after
due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Burney, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation to be paid during the
year 1968 and until further orders of the Court to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and
Special Veniremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day, including those summoned but excused,
Court
provided however, that those County and District/Petit Jurors and Grand Jurors actually
paneled and sworn, shall be paid $7.50 per day, with such compensation to be paid out of
the Jury Fund of Kerr County.

ing days and dates are and shall be declared as legal holidays for the County;
