N0. 10634 ORDER SETTING PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON A SALARY BASIS
On this the 8th da,y of January 1968, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation for
the Precinct Officials of the various precincts of Kerr County for the year 1968 as pro-
vided for in Article 3912e, Section 6, R.C.S. of Texas. It appearing to the Court that
the interests of the County would be best served if the Precinct Officials of Kerr County
are paid on a salary basis for the year 1968;
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and un-
animously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a
salary basis for the year 1y68, as provided by law. It is further ordered that the Clerk
of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the State Comptroller
of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.

N0. 10635 TRANSFER OF $8,880.00 TO SOCIAL SECURITY FUND
On this the 8th day of January 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and Treasurer
be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security Fund
from their respective funds:

N0. 10636 ORDER FIXING PAY OF GRAP7D JURORS, PETI'1 JURORS AND SPECIAL VE~~IIREN.EN IN DISTRICT
COURT APiD OF JURORS LT COUNTY COURT
On this the 8th day of January 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen
in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County as is
required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure and Article 35.24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after
due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Burney, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation to be paid during the
year 1968 and until further orders of the Court to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and
Special Veniremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day, including those summoned but excused,
Court
provided however, that those County and District/Pent Jurors and Grand Jurors actually
paneled and sworn, shall be paid $7.50 per day, with such compensation to be paid out of
the Jury Fund of Kerr County.

NO. 10637 ORDER SETTING HOLIDAYS FOR COURTHGUSE FOR 1968
On this the 8th day of January 1968, carne on to be considered by the Court the day
and dates to be fixed by the Court as legal holidays for the year 1968, also that the
Courthouse shall be closed on those days, and the Court is of the opinion that the follow-
ing days and dates are and shall be declared as legal holidays for the County;
