On this the 8th day of April 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc. in the amount of $1795.70 for one 1968 Ford Custom 4 Door Sedan, Motor No. 80512144124, for the Sheriff's Department, payable out of the General Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10677 SCHOOL TRUSTEE ELECTION RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED On this the 8th day of April 1968, came on to be considered by the Court the returns to be canvassed, to determine the results of the School Trustee Election held on April 6, 1968, which included: Center Point Independent School District Hunt Independent School District Ingram Independent School District Divide Common School District No. 12 Wherefore, the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above mentioned Districts, is of the opinion that said returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated in Volume 5, Page 73, Record of Election Returns, and as certified by each member of the Commissioners' Court, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10678 ORDER CANCELLING LUST VOUCHER N0. 19034 AND ISSUANCE OF REPLACEMENT VOUCHER AUTHORIZED On this the 8th day of April 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of cancelling Kerr County Treasury Voucher No. 19034 in the amount of $34.50, dated October 9, 1967, payable to Kerrville Mountain Sun, said voucher was drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County, Texas, for a budget hearing $4.00 and a notice to tax payers $30.50, and it appearing to the Court after contacting the original payee that said voucher has been lost or misplaced without having been negotiated by the payee, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court that the Clerk and the Treasurer be directed to cancel the aforesaid voucher No. 19034 on their books and that the County Depository be directed to stop payment on the same should it be hereafter presented for payment and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer draw a replacement voucher on the General Fund payable in the same manner as the said original voucher and for the services as originally rendered by the said payee. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10679 TERMINATION OF ALLOWANCE OF JAMES FULLER On this the 8th day of April 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the allowance of James Fuller be terminated due to death March 12, 1968. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10680 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF DONA KLINGEMANN AND GLENDA B. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Dona Klingemann and Glenda B. Tucker as Deputy County Clerks, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputies and that the application should be approved; ~~~~~ therefore on motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Dona Klingemann and Glenda B. M. ROAD 1340 On this the 8th day of April, 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the letter offer of Matilda Priddy and Imogene (Dollie) Leinweber to convey to the State of Texas 16.838 acres of land out of Survey No. 7, Abstract No. 403 and Survey No. 8, Abstract No. 1802 and to grant to the State of Texas a Channel Easement comprising 0.203 acres out of Survey No. 7, Abstract No. 403, the foregoing being for the purpose of pro- viding right-of-way for the extension of F. M. Road 1340; And it appearing to the Court that their offer is reasonable and in the best interest of all concerned, it is ordered on motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the afore- said offer and will pay the said Matilda Priddy and Imogene (Dollie) Leinweber, both being feme soles, the sum of $850.00 consideration for their conveying the aforesaid right-of-way and channel easement; and in addition Kerr County will pay them jointly the sum of $1,850.00 as severance damages; And it is further ordered that in addition to the foregoing cash consideration, Kerr County will construct a new livestock fence on both sides of the right-of-way conveyed using 39 inch net wire topped with one smooth cable wire and heart cedar posts set 30 feet apart with 3 heart cedar stays between; and in addition Kerr County will install four 12 foot steel gates in the said fence lines, it being the agreement of the parties that Kerr County will have the fencing built by Gabriel Mata of Sonora, Texas, as stipulated in the aforesaid letter offer. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. M. 1340 ROW Fund in the amount of $2,700.00 payable to Matilda Priddy and Imogene (Dollie) Leinweber, the said voucher to be delivered upon receipt of their properly executed Right-of-Way Deed and Channel Easement. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
