COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION April 15, 1968 at 9;45 o'clock A.M., with all
members present and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10688 ACCEPTANCE OF RESIGNATION OF ROBERT R. BARYON, COUNTY ATTORNEY
On this the 15th day of April 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously accepted the resignation of Robert R. Barton,
County Attorney, with sincere regrets, effective May 1, 1968.

N0. 10689 APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF R. N. WELCH
On this the 15th day of April 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the claim of R. N. Welch in the
amount of $147.40 for 50 posts ® $2.50 and 16 posts ® $1.40 and the Clerk and Treasurer
are hereby authorized to draw a voucher on the F. M. 1340 R/W Fund in the amount of $147.40,
payable to R. N. Welch.

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10690 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 19th day of April 1968, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of General, Permanent Improvement, Road & Bridge No. 4,
and Public Library Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts allowed on Page 1156, Vouchers
20509 thru 20516 , which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court.

COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION May 1, 1968 at 9:30 o'clock A.M., with all members
present and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10691 APPOINTMENT OF EDGAR A. WALLACE AS COUNTY ATTORNEY FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 1st day of May 1968, it appearing to the Court that a vacancy exists in
the office of County Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, by virtue of Robert R. Barton's
resignation.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the
Court unanimously approved and Judge Neunhoffer also voted "AYE" that Edgar A. Wallace be
appointed to £ill the vacancy in the office of County Attorney.
It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed that Edgar A. Wallace be appointed to
fill the vacancy in the office of County Attorney, said appointment to be effective, subject
to his furnishing proper bond and qualifying as required by law, until the next General
Election in 1968.
