On this the 1st day of May, 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid Henry Covert and wife, Hazel Covert, for the convey- ance of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 783; and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Burney, and unanimously approved by the Court, that Kerr County hereby offers to pay Henry Covert and wife, Hazel Covert, the sum of $150.00 for land and damages for their convey- ance to the State of Texas of 0.096 acres of land out of Survey 120, Walter Fosgate, it being the agreement of the parties hereto that the foregoing cash consideration shall include the estimated cost of moving the metal sign and supporting pipe presently located on the aforesaid 0.096 acre tract of land; And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. N1, 783 ROW Fund in the amount of $150.00 payable to Henry Covert and Hazel Covert, the said voucher to be delivered on receipt of their duly executed Right-of- Way Deed, the Hill Country Federal Savings and Loan Association, Inc., as lienholder, having waived all claims to the compensation herein offered, and having agreed to execute a partial release of Deed of Trust Lien as to the 0.096 acres of right-of-way referred to herein. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10693 APPROVAL OF MONTHLY ALLOWANCE FOR ROY BENNETT On this the 1st day of May 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance for Roy Bennett be reinstated for a period of six months, retroactive to April 1, 1968. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10694 APPROVAL OF BOND OF EDGAR A. S. TREASURY BONDS On this the 7th day of May, 1968, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the Letter Request of the Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to substitute four $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes for four $100,000.00 U. S. 't'reasury Bonds now pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, Page 1 of the Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on March 29, 1967; And it appearing to the Court that the said U. S. 'treasury Bonds are reaching their maturity date and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a sbustitution of ~(iy6 6 g `_D 1_ ~' acceptable securities, It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid request of the said Chas. Schreiner Bank be granted and that the said County Depository Bank be authorized to substitute four $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes dated May 15, 1968 and due May 15, 1975, for the follow- ing previously pledged U. S. Treasury Bonds: Four $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury 3 7/8~ Bonds of 5-15-68, Nos. 7301, 7302, 7303 and ?304 dated 6-23-60, due 5-15-68; And it is further ordered that the Frost National Bank of San Antonio, Texas, the custodian of the aforesaid four U. S. Treasury Bonds Nos. 7301, 7302, 7303 and 7304 be and is hereby authorized to release them to the said Chas. Schreiner Bank upon receipt of the four $100,000.00 U. S.
