MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for April, 1968 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10698 ORDER RENEWING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS On this the 13th day of May 1968 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas will expire on May 31, 1968; and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew such contract for a one-year period; It is therefore Urdered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year commencing on June 1, 1968 and ending on May 31, 1969 as provided for in Part C of the existing contract, said renewal to become effective upon the joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter _, acceptance as provided for by the terms of said Part C, and it is further Ordered that the Clerk of this Court forward a certified copy of this Order to the City of Kerrville, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10699 EXTENSION OF ALLOWANCE FOR NANNIE SHERMAN On this the 13th day of May 1968, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance for Nannie Sherman be extended for six months, effective May 1, 1968. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10700 ORDER DIRECTING CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE NOS. 20378 - 20380, INCLUSIVE On this the 13th day of May 1968, came on to be examined by the Court Certificates of Cancellation, Certificate Nos. 20378 - 20380 inclusive, presented to the Court by Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the reasons set out in said Certificate for the cancellation of taxes are good and suffi- cient, it is therefore ordered by the Court that the said certificate be granted and signed by the County Judge.
