Offer to Helen R. Hall and Lois Virginia Lee Hall Hey
and Husband, Wilson Hey, Jr. , for Right-of-Way for
F. M. Road 1340
On this the 8th day of November, 1968, came on to be heard and consider-
ed by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid Helen R. Hall, a feme sole,
and the surviving widow of H. L. Hall, Deceased, together with Lois Virginia Lee
Hall Hey and husband, Wilson Hey, Jr. , for the conveyance of land required for
the extension of F. M. Road 1340; and after due consideration by the Court, it is
_. ordered on motion by Commissioner St4rie seconded by
Cdxb-imissioner B3rte1 and unanimously approved by the Court that
Kex;r County hereby offers to pay Helen R. Hall and Lois Virginia Lee Hall Hey
and husband, Wilson Hey, Jr. , the sum of $2, 106. 50 for land, damages and
severance damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of 16.065 acres
of land out of Surveys 20, 21 and 22; and in addition to the cash compensation
offered, Kerr County will, prior to the construction of the new roadway, con-
struct a new livestock fence on both sides of the right-of-way conveyed consist-
ing of 39 inch net wire topped with one smooth cable wire and heart cedar posts
set 30 feet apart in concrete with 3 heart cedar stays between, it being the
agreement of the parties that the fencing shall be constructed by G ~iel L.
Mata of Sonora, Texas; and in addition, Kerr County will furnish and i;~stall up
to six 12 foot steel gates at locations acceptable to the land owners and the Texas
i
Highway Department.
And it is further ordered that the Glerk and the Treasurer be authorized
to draw a voucher on the F, M, 1340 ROW Fund in the amount of $2, 106, 50 pay-
able to Helen R. Hall, Lois Virginia Lee Ha11 Hey and Wilson Hey, Jr. , the
said voucher to be delivered upon receipt of their properly executed right-of-
way deed.
