COUNTY OF RERR ~ BE IT REMEMBERED that there was begun and holden on the 1st
day o£ January 1969, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. in the District Courtroom thereof, a SPECIAL
January Term of the Commissioners' Court with the following officers present;

On this the 1st day of January 196y, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
'by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved the bonds o£ the County Official
as follows:

Edgar A. Wallace, County Attorney
Leon F. Maples, Sheriff
and
Albert Wilson, Public Weigher in ~ for Justice Prec. No. 1

Cuurt Reconvened and the following proceedings were had:
N0. 10842 ORDER APPROVING APPLIv^ATION OF LEON F. P~PLES, SRERIFF, TO AYPC INT DEPUTIES
On this the 1st day o£ January 1y69, came on to be considered by the Court the
' application of Leon F. Maples, Sheriff, for authority to deputize the following persons.
It appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said deputies and that his
application should be approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize the following appointments to date from January 1st, ly6y, and to continue in
force until revoked or otherwise be terminated.
