N0. 10879 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY TREASURER
On this the 11th day of February 1969, in Regular Monthly Session of Commissioners'
Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasur-
er of said County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of November 1968 and ending on
the 31st day of January 1969, and the same having been examined and compared by the Court
and found oorrect.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received
for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and
become a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective
funds, since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are
found correct as therein shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said detailed report be, and the same
is hereby approved, and the Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to file same in the
record binder provided for the Minutes of County Finances, and that proper credits be
made in the accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with tr_is order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0. 10880 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY FINANCES AND TABULAR STATEMENT OF COUNTY
CLERK OF INDEBTEDNESS, EXPENDITURES AND RECEIPTS OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 11th day of February 1969, came on to be examined by the Court the
Quarterly Report and Tabular Statement of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, covering the
indebtedness, expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the quarter beginning November
1, 1968 and ending January 31, 1969, and the same having been compared and examined by
the Court and found correct.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court
unanimously approved said report and ordered-said report to be filed for future reference
and subject to audit.

N0. 10881 ORDER ACCEPTING BID OF JESS McNEEL MACHINERY CORPORATION FOR PORTABLE AIR
COMPRESSOR
On this the 14th day of February 1969, came on to be considered by the Court the
sealed bids for one Portable Air Compressor, as per specifications on. file in the County
Clerk's Uffice.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is
found that the bid of Jess Mcl6eel Machinery Corporation, in the amount of $3460.00, which
is the total difference to be paid between the new Portable Air Compressor and the trade-in
of the Joy 60 Compressor, be accepted as the lowest and best bid.
Motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously

N0. 10882 ORDER ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF COLONEL L. R. WOLFE AS CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR OF
KERB COUNTY AND APPOINTING MILTON L. ROGERS AS CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR OF KERR
COUNTY
On this the 14th day of February, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the previously tendered resignation of Colonel L. R. Wolfe as Kerr County Civil
Defense Director and it appearing to the Court that Colonel L. R. Wolfe has served with
sincere dedication in the aforesaid capacity since the creation of the County-Wide Civil
Defense Organization in the year 1959 and that the contributions that he has made towards
formulating the joint Civil Defense Operations Plan for the City of Kerrville and Kerr
County have been invaluable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by
Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that, subject to concurrence
by the Mayor of the City of Kerrville, the aforesaid reaignation of Colonel L. R. Wolfe be
accepted with regrets, the said resignation to be effective upon the appointment and quali-
fication of his successor;
And it is further ordered that Milton L. Rogers be appointed Civil Defense Director
for Kerr County, subject to concurrence by the Mayor of the City of Kerrville; and, that
upon his qualification as such, he shall be vested with full powers to appoint assistants.

N0. 10883 ORDER ACCEPTING FENCING CONSTRUCTED BY GABRIEL MATA ALONG F. M. ROAD 1340 AND
ORDERING PAYMENT OF SAME
On this the 21st day of February, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of acceptance of fencing constructed along the Right-of-Way of F. M.
Road 1340 by Gabriel Mata pursuant to agreement between Kerr County and certain abutting
land owners and it appearing to the Court that said fencing has been satisfactorily
constructed according to specifications, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County
hereby accepts the aforesaid fencing and that final payment therefor be made in the amount
of $1,193.11 as is set forth in Apendix "A" to this order;
and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the F. M. 1340 ROW Fund in the amount of $1,193.11 payable to Gabriel Mata.
