MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for April, 1969 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10917 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF MILLER ADDITION SECTION ONE On this the 12th day of May 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second- ed by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Miller Addition Section One. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10918 ORDER RENEWING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, 'TEXAS On this the 12th day of May 1969 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas will expire on May 31, 1969; and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew such contract for a one-year period; It is therefore Ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year commencing on June 1, 1969 and ending on May 31, 1970 as provided for in Part C of the existing contract, said renewal to become effective upon the joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter acceptance as provided for by the terms of said Part C, and it is further ordered that the Clerk of this Court forward a certified copy of the order to the City of Kerrville, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10919 EX'LENSION OF MONTHLY ALLOWANCE OF NANNIE SHERMAN On this the 12th day of May 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of Nannie Sherman be extended for six months, effective as of May 1, 1969. o-o-o_o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10920 ORDER DIRECTING CANCELLA'1IUN OF CERTIFICATE N0. 20385 On this the 12th day of May 1969, came on to be examined by the Court Certificates of Cancellation, Certificate No 20385, presented to the Court by Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the reasons set out in said Certificate for the cancellation of taxes are good and sufficient; it is there- fore ordered by the Court that the said certificate be granted and signed by the County Judge. Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 10921 ORDER ACCEPTING PUBLIC ROAD EASEMENT FOR EXTENSION OF RANCHERO ROAD THROUGH PORTIONS OF SURVEY 137 AND DECLARING SAID ROADWAY TO BE A PUBLIC ROAD On this the 12th day of May, 1969 came on to be heard and considered by the Court an easement providing for an extension of Ranchero Road through portions of Survey 137, W. C. Francis, as is more particularly described in said easement as tendered to Kerr County by G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe, the owners of the right-of-way therein described and it appearing to the Court that the owners of the abutting parcels of land, together with the general public require the use of the existing roadway, which lies within the bounds of the easement concerned for the purpose of providing lawful ingress and egress to the properties concerned, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County accept the aforesaid easement bearing the date of May 7, 1969 as its date of execution by the said G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe and that the roadway described therein be accepted as a public roadway, subject however to the provisions that actual maintenance of various portions of said roadway will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development in the area served by the individual portions of said roadway shall so justify, and it is further ordered that upon delivery of the properly executed Easement bearing the consent and approval of certain lienholders, the said easement be recorded in the Kerr County Easement Records. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
