~~~ N0. 11026 EXTENSION OF MONTHLY ALLOWANCE OF NANNZE SHERMAN On this the 10th day of November 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of Nannie Sherman be extended for a period of six months, effective as of November 1, 1969. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11027 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPOIN'1'MEN'1' OF ANITA SMOOT AND PEGGY WILLIAMS AS DEPUTIES- TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR On this the 10th day of November 1969, came on to be considered by the Court the application of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and deputize Anita Smoot as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and Peggy Williams as Deputy Tax Assessor- Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputies and that the application should be approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Anita Smoot and Peggy Williams as Deputies - Tax Asaessor- Collector and that their salaries be set at $3360.00 per annum, effective the date of their qualification, the same being the 12th day of November 1969. ^ o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11028 ORDER AMENDING ORDERS NOS. 10314 and 10352 RELATIVE TO COMPENSATION TO BE PAID W. G. POWELL AND WIFE, LOUISE POWELL FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD 783 On this the 10th day of November, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court those portions of Order No. 10,314 dated September 30, 1966 and Order No. 10,352 dated November 14, 1966, wherein Kerr County did agree, as part of the compensation to be granted W. G. Powell and wife, Louise Powell, for their conveyance of right-of-way for F. M. Road 783, to install a plastic water line and concrete water trough to supply water to the portion of their property lying to the east of the right-of-way conveyed; And it appearing to the Court that the said W. G. Powell and wife, Louise Powell, have agreed to accept the sum of $250.00 in lieu of the said water line and water trough, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the aforesaid proposal and that the said Order Nos. 10,314 and 10,352 be amended accordingly, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. M. 783 ROW Fund in the amount of $250.00 payable to W. G. Powell and Louise Powell. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11029 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO 1970 -FOUR DOOR SEDANS FOR SHERIFF'S DEPAR'1'MENT On this the 10th day of November 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be authorized to advertise for bids for two 1970 four door sedans for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department. Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk. Bid price to include trade-in allowance for two 1967 Ford four door sedans, less radio and other special police equipment. Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., December 8, 1969, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read.
