On this the 8th day of December 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the December 1969 payday be set
for December 23, 1969 for officials, employees and allowances.

N0. 11041 ORDER N0. 10853 AMENDED - RE. COURTHOUSE HOLIDAYS
On this the 8th day of December 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone , second-
ed by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that Order No. 10853 be amended
to include January 2, 1970 as a Courthouse Holiday.

N0. 11042 APPROVAL OF ANNUAL PAYMENT '1'0 SID PETERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
On this the 8th day of December 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the annual payment be made to
the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in the amount of $2,500.00, payable out of the General
Fund, toward the care of indigent patients for the year 1969.

N0. 11043 ORDER ACCEPTING OFFER OF R. CLAY McBRYDE AND WIFE, SYLVIA REES McBRYDE FOR RIGHT-
OF-WAY
On this the 8th day of December 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Burney, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County accept the offer
of R. Clay McBryde and wife, Sylvia Rees McBryde for land across portions of Surveys 547,
2538 and 1963, connecting Silver Hills with F. M. Road 689 in Precinct No. 2.
Kerr County accepts said offer subject to the provisions that actual maintenance
of roadway will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify
said maintenance.

N0. 11044 ORDER DIRECTING CANCELLATION OF TREASURY VOUCHER N0. 9772
On this the 8th day of December 1969, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County Treasurer be authoriz-
ed to cancel Voucher No. 9772 dated May 11, 1964 in the amount of $2.00 issued to Texas-
Arizona Motor Freight, Inc.

N0. 11045 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT' OF SURPLUS FUNDS OU`1' OF KERR COUN'T'Y FLOOD CONTROL
MAINTENANCE FUND IN U. S. 'TREASURY BILLS
On this the 8th day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr County Flood
Control Maintenance Fund; and
It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury Bills
would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas. Schreiner
Bank, the official depository of Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S. Treasury Bills
of the longest available term and with a maturity value of $37,000.00 for Kerr County and
to hold the same in safekeeping; and
It is Further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bills
as aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas. Schreiner Bank as to the actual purchase
price, and making the said voucher payable as directed by the said bank; and
