Clay McBryde and wife, Sylvia Rees McBryde for land across portions of Surveys 547, 2538 and 1963, connecting Silver Hills with F. M. Road 689 in Precinct No. 2. S. 'TREASURY BILLS On this the 8th day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund; and It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury Bills would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, second- ed by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas. Schreiner Bank, the official depository of Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S. Treasury Bills of the longest available term and with a maturity value of $37,000.00 for Kerr County and to hold the same in safekeeping; and It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bills as aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas. It is further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to sign any necessary purchase orders or other instruments on behalf of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11046 ORDER REGULATING PARKING OF VEHICLES ON SOUTHEAST QUADRAN'1 OF COURTHOUSE SQUARE AND RES'1'RIC'1'ING 'TRAFFIC '1'0 AUTHORIZED PUBLIC PURPOSES On this the 8th day of December 1969, came to be heard and considered by the Court the necessity of providing vehicle parking facilities for persons in attendance at Court at the Kerr County Courthouse and for those persons having matters of business to transact in the various public offices in the Kerr County Courthouse, and it appearing to the Court that recent additional encroachment onto the public parking areas of the Courthouse square resulting from all day parking by persons not having business to transact at the Court- house nor being employed thereat have served to virtually eliminate all remaining necessary vehicle parking space required by persons in attendance at Court or those having business to transact at the Courthouse, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel and seconded .... by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that effective January 1, 1970 the following rules and regulations be imposed to regulate traffic through, and the parking of vehicles on the southeast quadrant of the Courthouse Square traffic area lying between the Jefferson Street entrance and the Earl Garrett Street entrance: 1. Vehicle traffic flow will be restricted so as to permit entrance to the area from Jefferson Street entrance. 2. Traffic may exit via the Earl Garrett Street entrance but shall not enter the area from the Earl Garrett Street entrance. 3. Necessary movable barricades and signs will be installed to properly advise the public of this, as well as restrictions relative to the parking of vehicles. 4. No all day or extended time parking shall be permitted in the area except by Jurors and other persons in attendance at Court in the Courthouse, and by Peace officers and Kerr County employees. 5. Members of the public having official business to transact at any of the public offices in the Kerr County Courthouse shall be permitted to park in the area for a suf£i- cient length of time to complete the actual transaction of such business. 6. Persons violating these parking restrictions shall be warned by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department either verbally or by written memorandum affixed to the vehicle con- cerned to remove the offending vehicle and to not repeat the offense. The Sheriff of Kerr County is authorized and directed to have any offending vehicle towed away following one warning to the operator or owner thereof, with such towing charges as may result therefrom being chargable against the owner or operator of such vehicle and to be collect- ed by the tower prior to release of the vehicle. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11047 OFFER TO MURIEL McCANN POWERS FOR RIGH'1-OF-WAY FOR CYPRESS CREEK-CENTER POINT ROAD On this the 8th day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be offered Muriel McCann Powers, surviving widow and sole devisee of W.
