FLOYD FOR RIGH`1-OF-WAY WIDENING OF CYPRESS CREEK ROAD EA S1' OF I. H. HIGHWAY N0. 10 On this the 23rd day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of compensation to be paid R. C. Floyd and wife, Lucille B. Floyd, for right-of- way required for the widening of the Cypress Creek Road immediately east of I. H. Highway No. 10 and it appearing to the Court that the right-of-way concerned is required to permit the correction of drainage problems resulting from the construction of I. H. Highway No. 10, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimous- ly approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay R. C. Floyd and wife, Lucille B. Floyd, the sum of $300.00 for land and damages for their conveyance to Kerr County of 0.306 acres of land out of Survey No. 462 along the north side of the present Cypress Creek to Kerrville County Road, and in addition to the foregoing cash consideration Kerr County will move the surplus top soil from the area concerned as per agreement and will also con- struct a new barbed wire livestock fence along the north line of the right-of-way conveyed, ~~~ and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. M. and Lateral Road Fund in the amount of $300.00 payable to R. C. Floyd and wife, Lucille B. Motion made by Commissioner $chwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11054 ORDER ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF TEXAS DEPAR'1'MEN'1 OF PUBLIC SAFETY '1'0 REPLACE CITY-COUNTY RADIO TOWER On this the 31st day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered the letter proposal of the Texas Department of Public Safety dated December 8, 1969, which proposal Radio sets forth the offer to replace the present City-County/Tower with a new tower at no cost to Kerr County and the City of Kerrville, and it appearing to the Court that the existing tower which is being used by the Department of Public Safety pursuant to authority granted in Order No. 8145 has become structurally unsafe by reason of deterioration; and it further appearing to the Court that the City of Kerrville has heretofore accepted the proposal as aforesaid, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby joins with the City of Kerrville in accepting the proposal of the Texas Department of public Safety to replace the said tower as outlined in the letter proposal aforesaid conditioned upon the rights of joint usage of the new tower being reserved to the City of Kerrville , Kerr County, and the Kerrville Telephone Company as set forth in said proposal. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11055 ORDER CONFIRMING TERMINA'T'ION OF AGREEMENT WI`1'H FIRM OF HEDRICK AND STANLEY RELATIVE 'i0 ARCHITEC'1'URAL SERVICES FOR COURT HOUSE AND JAIL IMPROVEMENTS On this the 31st day of December, 1969, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of confirming the termination of an agreement between Kerr County and the Architect Firm of Hedrick and Stanley, which agreement dated October 21, 1958, is re- corded as a part of Commissioners Court Order No. 8104, dated November 10, 1958, in Vol. L, Page 210 of the Minutes of the Court and which agreement provided for the contingent payment for professional services of the said firm to be rendered in conjunction with the proposed construction of a new jail and the renovation of the Kerr County Court House, and ~'"
