it appearing to the Court that the improvements contemplated were rejected by the voters
of Kerr County by virtue of the defeat of a proposal to issue bonds to finance the pro-
posed improvements as is evidenced by the returns of an election held November 9, 1963,
and canvassed by the Commissioners Court on November 12, 1963, and that since that time
no further proposals have been entertained by the Court for the construction of any of the
improvements which were the subject matter of the agreement dated October 21, 1958, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby confirms its termination of the said agree-
ment as of November 12, 1963 and that it disclaims any further liability thereunder for
any and all purposes.

On this the 12th day of January 1970, came on to be examined by the Court the semi-
annual report of all receipts and disbursements of the County Clerk Trust Fund in the
Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by her
in her official capacity, to officers and persons entitled thereto, and amounts remaining
in her hands for the period from July 1, 1969, leaving a balance of $4,430.30 on deposit
in said Trust Fund, for the period ending December 31, 1969.
It appearing to the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved;
therefore, on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court
unanimously approved said report as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk.

N0. 11060 ORDER SETTING COUNTY OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On this the 12th day of January 1970, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation
of various County Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the ye<~r 1970, as provided for in
Article 3912e, Section 2, R.C.S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County
has a population of less tY~an 20,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census
and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials of Kerr
County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1970.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and
unanimously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials of Kerr County
be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1970.
Zt is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified
copy of this order and send same to the Comptroller of public Accounts in Austin, Texas.
