N0. 11061 ORDER SET"PING PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON A SALARY BASIS On this the 12th day of January 1970, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court, with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation for the Precinct Officials of the various precincts of Kerr County for the year 1970 as provided for in Article 3912e, Section 6, R.C.S. oŁ Texas. It appearing to the Court that the interests of the County would be best served if the Precinct Officials of Kerr County are paid on a salary basis for the year 1970; Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis for the year 1970, as provided by law. It is further ordered that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the State Comptroller of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11062 TRANSFER OF $13,255.00 '1'0 SOCIAL SECURITY FUND On this the 12th day of January 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security Fund from their respective funds: Jury Fund $160.00 General Fund 820.00 Road & Bridge Fund 4775.00 Officers Salary Fund 7500.00 Total $13255.00 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 11063 ORDER SETTING PAY OF GRAND JURORS, PETI'1' JURORS AND SPECIAL VENIREMEN IN DIS'iRICT COURT' AND OF JURORS IN COUNTY COURT On this the 12th day of January 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County as is required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Article 35.24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis- sioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation to be paid during the year 1970 and until further orders of the Court to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day, including those summoned but excused, provided however, that those County and District Court Petit Jurors and Grand Jurors actually impaneled and sworn, shall be paid $7.50 per day, with such compensation to be paid out of the Jury Fund of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11064 ORDER SETTING HOLIDAYS FOR COUR'1'HOUSE FOR 1970 On this the 12th day of January 1970, came on to be considered by the Court the day and dates to be fixed by the Court as legal holidays for the year 1970, also that the Court- house shall be closed on those days, and the Court is of the opinion that the following days and dates are and shall be declared as legal holidays for ±he pount IVI t'on ad by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Ctone and unanimously a~~irove~ Uy tie ~`o!zrt.
