On this the 13th day of April, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of compensation to be offered Sophie Mary Furman and 'Husband, W. A. Furman,
for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a Channel Easement comprising 0.074 acres
of land out of Survey No. 115, Thomas Hand, which Channel Easement is required for the
reconstruction of the approaches to the Cuir_lan Creek bridge on F. M. Road 1341, and after
due consideration by the Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously apprcved by the Court that Kerr County hereby
offers to pay Sophie Mary Furman and husband, W. A. Furman, the sum of $25.00 as compensa-
tion for their granting to the State of Texas of the Channel Easement comprising 0.074
acres as aforesaid;
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher in the amount of $25.00 on the F. M. and Lateral Road Fund payable to Sophie Mary
Furman and husband, W. A. Furman, the said voucher to be delivered upon receipt of their
properly executed Channel Easement.

On this the 13th day of April 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that Patricia L. Spicer
be appointed Presiding Judge of Election Precinct No. 7, replacing Mrs. Frank D. Jones
who has moved away.

PTC. 11114 ORDER AUTHORIZIP?G APPOINTMENT OF DONA KLITdGEMANN AS DEPUTY COUTdTY CLERK
On this the 13th day of April 1970, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion c£ Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Dona
Klingemann as Deputy County Clerk for Absentee Voting in the Primary and General Elections
for 1970 and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and
that the application should be approved; therefore upon motion made by Commissioner
Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that said
officer be authorized to deputize Dona Klingemann as Deputy County Clerk for absentee
voting, said Deputy to be paid on an hourly basis ~~~ $1.50 per hr., effective the date of
her qualification, the same being the 13th day of April 1970.

T?0. 11115 TRANSFER OF $10,000 FROM GET.ERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND
On this the 13th day of April 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethe]m,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $10,000.00 from the
General Fund to the Officers Salary Fund.

N0. 11116 APPORTIOP?MENT OF $7,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this the 13th day of April 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,

County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum of $7,000.00 out of the
General Road & Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners' Precincts:
