THAT a copy of this order, signed by the County Judge of Kerr County and attested to by
the County Clerk of Kerr County, shall serve as proper and sufficient notice of the election
herein ordered, and that this order shall be published in a newspaper of general circula-
tion throughout the County once a week for two consecutive weeks before the date of election,
with the first notice being publsihed no more than 28 nor less than 14 days before the date
of election; and in addition, copies hereof shall be posted at the Kerr County Courthouse
and filed with the County Clerk of Kerr County.
THAT the election judges for each polling place as well as the judge of the Special Canvass-
ing Board for absentee voting shall cause the ballots cast herein to be counted and the
results certified to the Commissioners Court pursuant to applicable provisions of the Texas
3lection Code and within 10 days after the date of the election.
The above order being read in full, it was moved by Commissioner Schwethelm and seconded
by Commissioner Bartel that the same do pass. Thereupon the question being called for,

RESOLUTION
4JHEREAS, the City of Kerrville and the County of Kerr are the joint owners of the
Municipal Airport; and
G~dEREA5, the citizens of Kerr County have presented a petition to the Kerr County
Commissioners Court to call an election for the creation of the Kerr County Airport Authori-
ty under the provisions of House Bill No. 956 of the 60th Legislature, entitled "An Act
Ralating to Creation of the Kerr County .Airport Authority Under Section 12, Article IX,
Constitution of the State of Texas; Providing For the Authority's Establishment, Organiza-
tion, Administration, and Financing;
and
'~IHEREAS, Section 5, sub-section (b) of said Act provides that prior to calling the

election, the governing body of the City of Kerrville shall determine by majority vote
whether the directors of said Airport Authority are to be appointed or elected;
NOW, THERE: ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS
that members for the Board of Directors of the proposed Kerr County Airport Authority
shall be appointed by the Commissioners Court of Kerr County as provided in Section 6 of
said Act.
