MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for April, 1970 MARGARET HILL, County Health Nurse, Report for April, 1970 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11123 ORDER RENEWING AND AMENDING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS On this the 11th day of May, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and; It appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas will expire on May 31, 1970, and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew such contract fora one year period with amendment; It is, therefore, ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commission- er Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas, dated May 14, 1960, be amended so that the first sentence of Part D thereof shall read as follows: The County of Kerr agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Kerrville for any damages or injuries to any person or the property of such person, who is not an employee, agent, workman or fireman of the City of Kerrville, which damages or injury results from answering or performing fire calls outside of the City of Kerrville.
