N0. 11165 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR KERR COUNTY LATERAL ROAD SURPLUS FUNDS IN
ACCOUNT WITH BOARD OF COUNTY AND DISTRICT ROAD INDEBTEDNESS
0n this the 10th day of August 1970, it coming to the attention of the Court that
there will be surplus funds in the amount of $20,864.12 credited to the lateral road account
of Kerr County by the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness of the State of Texas
and it appearing to the Court that funds should properly be expended for the purpose of
construction and improvement of lateral roads within Kerr County, it is ordered on motion

by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County request the Board oŁ County and District Road Indebtedness to for-
ward the said funds to the Treasurer of Kerr County upon their becoming available; and it
is further ordered that all such funds are here and now earmarked, set aside and designated
to be used by Kerr County for the purpose of construction and improvement of Kerr County
Lateral Roads, and the Treasurer of Kerr County be directed to deposit such funds upon
their receipt in the proper fund in the County Depository and it is further ordered that
the County Clerk prepare a certified copy of this order and forward the same to the Board
of County and District Road Indebtedness, 217 Highway Building, Austin, Texas.

N0. 11166 ORDER DIRECTING CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE N0. 20388
On this the 10th day of August 1970, came on to be examined by the Court Certificates
of Cancellation, Certificate No. 20388, presented to the Court by Juanita Reeves, Tax
Assessor-Collector of Kerr County and it appearing to the Court that the reasons set out
in said Certificate for the cancellation of taxes are good and sufficient; it is there-
fore ordered by the Court that the said certificate be granted and signed by the County
Judge.
Motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimous-
ly approved by the Court.

N0. 11167 TRANSFER OF $10,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND
On this the 10th day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $10,000.00 from the
General Fund to the Officers Salary Fund.

N0. 11168 APPORTIONMENT OF $?,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this the 10th day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum of $7,000.00 out of the
General Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners' Precincts:

N0. 11169 ORDER APPROVING EDWAED3 PLATEAU HUNTING, FISHING AND TRAPPING PROCLAMATION

On this the 10th day of August 1970, came on to be considered by the Commissioners'
Court of Kerr County, Texas, Edwards Plateau Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation No.
N-1 1970-71, issued and adopted by the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the State of Texas
on the 9th day of July 1970, and it being found and determined by the Court that (1) this

is the first regular meeting of such Court occurring more than five (5) days after the
meeting of the Parks and Wildlife Commission at which such Proclamation was adopted; (2)
prior hereto, on the 3rd day of June 1970 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., a public hearing was held
in Kerr County by an employee of the Parks and Wildlife Commission relative to proposed
Proclamation No. N-1 1970-71, and (3) notices of such public hearing was given in a news-
paper published in Kerr County at least ten (10) days prior to the date of such hearing,
and after a reading of the terms of the said proclamation all interested parties having
been given an opportunity to be held thereon, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the
said Proclamation No. N-1 1970-71 be in all things approved by the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County and that said proclamation be filed, but not recorded in the minutes of this
Court .

N0. 11170 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF PACKSADDLE ACRES
On this the 10th day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, second-
ed by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Packsaddle Acres,
provided in so doing Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways the road easements
dedicated for public use and further that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for
repairs, maintenance, construction or reconstruction of roadways dedicated.

N0. 11171 APPROVAL OF MONTHLY ALLOWANCE FOR STONEY ARMSTRONG
On this the 10th day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance for
Stoney Armstrong be extended for six months, effective as of August 1, 1970.

N0. 11172 APPROVAL OF TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT OF PEGGY JANE WILLIAMS, DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-
COLLECTOR
On this the 10th day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded
by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the employment of Peggy
Jane Williams, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County be terminated as of July 31,
1970.

N0. 11173 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF COUNTY BUDGET FOR 1971
On this the 10th day of August 1970, after motion having been duly made by Commissioner
Bartel, seconded by Comr.~issioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County
Clerk be hereby directed to issue notice by publication, with notice thereof to be publish-
ed in the official newspaper of Kerr County one time, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County will submit for consideration of the public, a Budget for the Control of the County
Financial Affairs during the fiscal year, January 1st, 1971 to December 31, 1971, the same
to be at a public hearing to be held September 4, 1970 at 9:00 o'clock A.M. in the Kerr
County Commissioners' Court Room of the Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas.
