COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION AUGUST 21, 1970 at 9:20 o'clock A.M., with
the following officers present:
W. C. Schwethelm, Commissioner Precinct 1
Clinton D. Burney, Commissioner Precinct 2
Roger Stone, Commissioner Precinct 4
and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 11179 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF SPICER RANCH
On this the 21st day of August 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the Plat of Spicer
Ranch be accepted, provided in so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways
the road easements dedicated for public use and further that Kerr County does not assume
responsibility for repairs, maintenance, construction and reconstruction of roadways so
dedicated.

and the Court having duly opened the following proceedings were had:
N0. 11180 ADOPTION OF BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1971
On this the 4th day of September 1970, came on to be considered by the Cburt the public
hearing in the matter of the adoption of the Cbunty Budget Łor the year 1971. It appearing
to the Court that proper notices have been published in the official newspaper of Kerr
County in the City of Kerrville, Texas for one week prior to the hearing date hereof, and
after thorough examination by the Court and the consideration of the public interest of
the Community, the Court is of the opinion that the proposed budget should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
the Court unanimously approved the adoption of the County Budget for 1971.

N0. 11181 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF MOTLEY HILLS SECTION 4
On this the 4th day of September 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the Plat of Motley
Hills Section 4, be accepted, subject to approval of the Planning and Zoning Committee of
the City of Kerrville.
