N0. 11185 ORDER ESTABLISHING BASIS FOR VALUATION OF REAL ESTATE AND IMPROVEMENTS, LIVESTOCK, AUTOMOBILES AIVTD ALL OTHER TAXABLE PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1971 On this the 14th day of September, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 1971 ad valorem taxes; And it appearing to the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such valuations, it is therefore ordered, and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed, to employ the following as a basis for establishing such valuations: 1. Cattle, horses, sheep, goats and other livestock shall be valued at 25~ of fair market value. 2. Ranch, grazing and cultivated lands shall be classified in a minimum of three classes and be valued at 25~ of fair market value. 3. All other classes of real estate and all improvements situated thereon as well as those situated on ranch or rural lands shall be valued at 25/ of fair market value. 4. All other property subject to taxation, including automobiles, mobile homes, aircraft, merchandise, and inventories, shall be valued at 25~ of fair market value. Smith, Jail Nightwatchman $1,680.00 " " " Vernon Gross, Center Point Night- watchman $2,445.00 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11187 TRANSFER OF $690.00 TO SOCIAL SECURITY FUND On this 14th day of September 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that additional transfers to the Social Security Fund be transferred as follows, due to second Court Reporter and October 1, 1970 salary increases: Jury Fund $110.00 Road & Bridge Fund $400.00 General Fund $ 30.00 Officers Salary Fund $150.00 Total $690.00 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11188 ORDER DESIGNATING ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND AS SOURCE OF PAYMENT FOR COUNTY CONTRIBU- TIOTd TO TEXAS COUNTY AND DISTRICT RETIREMENT SYSTEM REQUIRED TO MATCH COTTTRIBU- TIONS OF EMPLOYEES OF THE COMMISSIOTdER'S PRECINCTS OF KERB COUNTY On this the 14th day of September, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of determining the source of payment for County contributions to the Texas County and District Retirement System required to match contributions of employees of the Commissioner's Precincts of Kerr County; And it appearing to the Court that such Commissioner's Precinct employees are from time to time paid out of the various Precinct Road and Bridge Funds or out of the Precinct Lateral Road Funds; And it further appearing to the Court that both budgeting and accounting procedures would be simplified by paying the County's contributions required to match those of the employees of the various Commissioner's Precincts from a single fund, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the Treasurer of Kerr County be directed to pay over Kerr County's monthly contributions to the County and District Retirement Fund insofar as the employees of the various County Commissioner's Precincts are concerned out of the General Road and Bridge Fund and that this procedure shall be deemed to supplement the procedures set forth heretofore in Order No. 11178 by which participation in the said Retirement System was ordered. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11189 TRANSFER OF $5,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND On this the 14th day of September 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $5,000.00 from the General Fund to the Officers Salary Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
