A. DOWDY SURVEY 1922 AS PER OPTION IN ORIGINAL LEASE On this the 25th day of September, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of a certain lease agreement heretofore entered into between Kerr County and the Texas Highway Department, which lease is of record in Vol. J., Page 476 of the Commissioners Court Minutes; and it appearing to the Court that the said lease as to 1.4 acres of land out of Survey 1922, T. A. Dowdy, situated at the intersection of old State i~® Highway 41 and State I~ighway 27 in the community of Mountain Home, Texas, was entered into for a period of 20 years, commencing Nov. 1, 1950 with the Texas Highway Department as Lessee having been granted the additional option of renewing same for 20 years; and it further appearing to the Court that the Lessee has given written notice of its intention to exercise its renewal option, doing so more than 30 days prior to November 1, 1970, and that Lessee has additionally tendered the required sum of $1.00, which has been duly deposited with the County Treasurer; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that the extension and renewal of the lease afore- said for a period of 20 years commencing November 1, 1970, is hereby recognized and acknowl- edged for all purposes. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED September 25, 1970 at 10:20 o'clock A.M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o The foregoing minutes from page 173 thru 178 were read in open Court and found correct and are hereby approved this 12th day of October 1970.
