N0. 11195 APPROVAL OF 1970 TAX ROLL BY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
On this the 25th day of September 1970, with the County Judge and County Commissioners
sitting as a Board of Equalization, did carefully examine the Tax Rolls made up from the
approved assessments by Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector for Kerr County, and for
the year 1970 and did find that all Surveys and parts of Surveys of land, and all lots and
blocks of the cities and towns of this County and all personal property, insofar as they
were able to ascertain have been assessed for taxes for the year 1970 at its true and full
market or real value.
The 1970 tax roll reflects the following:

N0. 11196 APPROVAL OF TERRACING CONTRACT IN PRECINCT N0. 2
On this the 25th day of September 1970, in accordance with the provisions of Article
2372c of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, the application of Henry Wellborn, for
terracing of his land about 2 miles SW of Center Point on the Bandera Road in Precinct No.
2, Center Point, Texas was approved by the Court and contract entered into by and between
the Commissioner of Precinct No. 2 and the aforementioned party.
Motion made by Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0. 11197 ORDER ACKNOWLEDGING EXTENSION OE` LEASE AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
AS TO 1.4 ACRES OUT OF T. A. DOWDY SURVEY 1922 AS PER OPTION IN ORIGINAL LEASE
On this the 25th day of September, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of a certain lease agreement heretofore entered into between Kerr County
and the Texas Highway Department, which lease is of record in Vol. J., Page 476 of the
Commissioners Court Minutes; and it appearing to the Court that the said lease as to 1.4
acres of land out of Survey 1922, T. A. Dowdy, situated at the intersection of old State
i~®
Highway 41 and State I~ighway 27 in the community of Mountain Home, Texas, was entered into
for a period of 20 years, commencing Nov. 1, 1950 with the Texas Highway Department as
Lessee having been granted the additional option of renewing same for 20 years; and it
further appearing to the Court that the Lessee has given written notice of its intention
to exercise its renewal option, doing so more than 30 days prior to November 1, 1970, and
that Lessee has additionally tendered the required sum of $1.00, which has been duly
deposited with the County Treasurer;
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm
and unanimously approved by the Court that the extension and renewal of the lease afore-
said for a period of 20 years commencing November 1, 1970, is hereby recognized and acknowl-
edged for all purposes.

27387 which were made a part hereof and of this order.

On this the 12th day of October 1970, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of September of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, and the
same having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and
correct and should be approved; therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Burney, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be
accepted and filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit.
