On this the 30th day of November 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of
Raymond Orr, Justice of the Peace, Prec. No. 1, due to illness, be accepted with sincere
regrets, effective 12:00 o'clock Midnight, November 30, 1970.

N0. 11230 APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT L WILSON AS JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PRECINCT N0. 1
On this the 30th day o£ November 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second-
ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that Robert I. Wilson be
appointed Justice of the Peace to the unexpired term of Justice of the Peace Precinct No.
1 of Kerr County, effective December 1, 1y70, to serve until January 1, 1971 and until a
successor may qualify.

N0. 11232 ORDER APPROVING SALARY OF ROBERT I. WILSON AS JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PRECINCT N0.

On this the 30th day o£ November 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the salary of Robert I.
Wilson as Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 1 at X3600.00 per annum, effective December 1,
1970, subject to his qualifying on that date.

N0. 11233 TERMINATION OF ALLOWANCE OF STONEY ARMSTRONG
On this the 30th day of November 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second-
ed by Commissioner Riirney, the Court unanimously approved that the allowance for Stoney V
Armstrong be terminated, retroactive to November 1, 1970.

N0. 11234 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF KEItR COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
MAINTENANCE FUND IN U. S. TREASURY BILLS
On this the 30th day of November 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr County Flood
Control Maintenance Fund; and
It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury Bills
would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas. Schreiner
Bank, the official depository of Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S. Treasury Bills
of the longest available term and with a maturity value of X55,000.00 for Kerr County and
to hold the same in safekeeping; and
It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher ....
on the Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bills
as aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas. Schreiner Bank as to the actual purchase
price, and making the said voucher payable as directed by the said bank; and

It is further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to sign any necessary
purchase orders or other instruments on behalf of Kerr County.

N0. 11235 APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF BILL SPIVEY
On this the 30th day of November 1970, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Burney, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Bill Spivey
in the amount of X195.00 for 110 yds. base material ~~ 50˘ per yard and 70 yards of topping
rock C' 2.00 per yard, payable out of R&B #3 Fund, and the Clerk and Treasurer is hereby
authorized to draw a voucher in the above amount, payable to Bill Spivey.
